When Dr Stefan was 12, he chipped a bone in his arm and had screws inserted to stabilize the fracture. When it came to removing those pins, his family doctor used acupuncture instead of local anesthetic to numb the sensations of the procedure . With nurses looking on in bewildered amazement, Stefan knew then and there that Acupuncture was the place where science and magic meet.
After graduating from Simon Fraser University, and travelling the world for several years, Dr Stefan finally enrolled in Acupuncture School. and after becoming a Registered Acupuncturist, and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner in B.C., he successfully challenged the first ever Doctor of TCM exam in Canada in 2005. Since then Stefan has worked extensively with professional athletes, including NHL players, olympic athletes, and ironman triathletes. He is adept at treating a complete spectrum of physical ailments with a wide variety of needling techniques. Dr Stefan is a big believer of full body health and systemic integration, and as such loves helping people with anything they feel the desire to change. Likewise, over the years Dr Stefan has seen the value of addressing the themes of mental health to help any pathology. From injury repair to physical performance to fertility to mental health to weight loss, if you have a goal, chances are Stefan can help you achieve it.
When not at the clinic Dr Stefan loves studying the latest in both Eastern and Western Medicine, and exploring the beautiful outdoors with his family
I help people with chronic or acute pain move from their stressed body to feeling better overall, so that they can live their lives without pain or tension by aiding to move unwanted energy from the body.
My goal is to release tension and stress from your muscles of concern by putting you in a relaxed state so that your mind calms down and the body can promote its natural ability to heal.
I’ve been massaging since 2005 with certificates in Feet reflexology and Thai massage.
